Thought this book would be full of birds similar to the ones on the cover. It isn't.
It has the ones on the cover and then a few filler pages. Waste of money.
Very cute and useful eBook with steps to draw all kinds of birds. I was interested in learning to draw chickens, but admire the other birds, too. Such a nice way to share talent!
I purchased many of these drawing books for my daughters' kindles while they were being offered for free. Each of them are very nice, easy to follow instructions, with plenty of things to draw to help spark their creativity and imagination.
The birds are very cute, cartoon-ey and expressive. I tried most of the drawings, and while some jump very quickly between two steps and don't really simplify the cartoon as much as I would have liked; overall the book is greatly helpful. It covers a range of birds in all shapes and sizes and is worth a read, especially for beginners!
I've been looking after my cousin a lot recently and she's crazy about drawing right now. She loves to draw animals so I wanted to look for some tips on how to draw them, so I could help her get better.
I found this book to be great value for money. I've even been following the tips myself and the birds I've been drawing actually look ok, which is a huge improvement on my drawing!
I'll be getting more books from this author when me and my cousin are bored of drawing birds!
